The Afikpo are a subgroup of the Igbo people in southeastern Nigeria.
This highly abstract and geometric mask with a flat board superstructure is called mba.
It was used by members of an Afikpo secret society during the Okumkpa ceremonies which celebrated the end of the dry season.
