Ahote Katsina is considered particularly beneficial by the Hopi. He is said to bring good fortune to the members of the kiva and to the entire village.
There are several colors for the dance costume of Ahotes (blue, white, green, or as here, yellow). Yellow Ahote Katsina is more specifically named Sikyahote. He participates in ritual dances composed solely of A'hote (Line Dances) or in group dances (Mixed Dances).
