Parcours des Mondes 2025

On the occasion of the 2025 edition of Parcours des Mondes, Galerie Flak is pleased to return to its historic address at 8 rue des Beaux-Arts, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. For this event, the gallery is honored to present an exclusive collaboration with Crosby Studios and its founder Harry Nuriev — a leading figure on today’s design scene.

Celebrated for his radical installations and event-based interventions — from his recent participation at the Louvre during the Louvre Couture exhibition to a collection created for Westwing — Harry Nuriev now brings his resolutely modern visual language into dialogue with our selection of ancient works from Africa, Oceania, and North America presented for the Parcours.

With his singular vision, he has reimagined our gallery space through a contemporary lens: minimalist, sculptural, and innovative. This encounter between ancestral forms and radical modernity invites visitors to rediscover timeless works in a new light, where art and design converge in an unprecedented dialogue.

Vis-à-vis unfolds as a play of reflections, correspondences, and both aesthetic and symbolic tensions. Contemporary design, in all its bold directness, engages here in conversation with the forms and forces of tribal art. Through this singular mise en scène, the exhibition seeks to stand both as a witness to — and an extension of — this fertile confrontation.
